I made the two pieces from plastic and I painted them in dark brown. Then I masked them with some photoetched diamond mesh and painted with buff. Then I removed the mask and aplied a very ligh coat of buff to the full piece. I like it

Great start and detailing

I'm sure you use a vacuum cleaner on your builds!

Great work! It might look even better if you drill those holes on the steering wheel spokes or paint them black to give some depth.

You may find this site useful for reference: http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/M...VRegistry.html

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, that's probably the only thing you could add to enhance that awesome interior. . . That and maybe a set of seat belts ?. . .

Here are a few other Miura sites.

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

Today I got the paint for the body. The real color looks like the one of the paint inside the can:

I just love it

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

Hi, your car is looking sweet, just remember to paint the lower portion of the car the same colour as the wheels if you want it to be authentic, but you already knew that, didn't you. That green paint is well groooovy, yeah baby. Keep the updates coming as this is a thread well worth following.

Awesome color! Is it straight color or are there metallics in it?

Can't wait to see this one painted up!

Great job so far, killer color selection

This is a great model to build, very satisfying...Hasegawa did a great job even if it's "just" a curbside.

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

The interior and colour choice are killer. Looks like you will have plenty of lime green left over for other Lamborghinis.

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

Small update. I've worked on the grilles of the sides of the doors. They're included in the PE parts from Studio 27, and I think that just these parts and the included for the front air vents make the PE worth the money. The pieces included for this in the model are so thick.

Now I'll glue side mirrors, primer and... green green green

Regards
