Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

My uncles G35. Wow, just everything I could want in a car. My CRX is a close second, once it has a little more power it might take the lead.

Does a off-road go-kart count?

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

I wouldn't know where to start. I worked for BMW so I drove every model up to the new M5, those were all a bad ass except for a POS 318ti. 850 6 speeds are fun. Drove a few SL500's & 600's. Nothing like a V12. Drove an NSX, Lotus, & Porsches all at BMW. I worked for Honda, drove many S2K's, nothing compared to M roadsters and coupes(love that car) Never drove a Z8 but got a ride. Drove BMW, Viper, & SFR race cars. All types of vettes, my C4, Z06's, C5's . . .The list goes on.

Either a sprint car or a turbo busa(don't know if bikes count) would have to be my all time favorite.

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

I know this sounds stupid but the "funnest" car ive ever driven was the old 88 5speed hatch i had... the thing had tires that were about 4 inches wide, and it shook very bad at any speed over 50, could barely hit 80mph, foot to the floor, shitty brakes, and worn out suspension with over 300,000 on it. I mean this car was sooo bad, it was awesome. 55mph on a back road felt like 120+. the shitty brakes complimented the shitty engine so well. it was a perfectly balanced shitty car..... but i had fun...

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

I would have to say the funnest car i ever driven was my 91 s-10 5 spd. nothing like tearing up your brothers back yard with 5 people in the bed doing doughnuts!

Next would definetly be my 89 hatch 4 spd. only had it for a 3 months but i fell in love with it afterwards, nothing like 20 ft burnouts!

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

Probably the most surprising car I drove was a truck. It was a Syclone, the S15 with the turbo'd 4.3 V8 and all wheel drive. The thing would just squat down and blast off, wouldnt squeal a tire or slide, grab and go throwing you back into the seat. I have had quite a few cars that were fun. 98 Z28 1LE for speed and handling, 72 Mercedes 280 SE 4.5 was fun to race and create havoc in a small Iowa town, 91 MR2 was a blast to drive in the corners, 90 Mustang LX 5.0 five speed was fun to race and do burnouts, 78 Datsun 620 pickup with the top and doors cut off for the heck of it, also had a smoke screen maker hooked up to it, 72 Impala 2 door with a 400 V8, used to jump it and get all four wheels off the ground, big block 66 Chevelle SS 396 would do great burnouts as well as my 81 Z28. Had a 74 Corolla that I swapped in a 2T-G in place of the 2T-C, surprised a lot of people. The 76 BMW 2002 that I had was fun but couldnt keep it long enough to really enjoy it.

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

Ok...I hate to admit it, but the funnest car I ever drove was my mom's '89 Mustang 5.0 (back in the day). Oh man....I had that car sideways more than I had it straight

120 on the freeway felt like you were riding on air...

And filling suburban streets with thick clouds of tire smoke was always fun too!

Re: the funnest car you have ever driven

Well my CRX has definately been an awesome road car and will give me memories (or nightmares) for a long time. But another great vehicle was an 85 Toyota short bed pickup, that damn thing would climb hills that I myself could not scale..loose gravel, it didnt matter..even with teeth missing off the gears and old as hell, that truck was just plain fun! Running around NC with that thing was great!
