Re: Did anyone else get the laptop at walmart for $378, DSMLINK almost complete now

Work at Best Buy too.

Was there at 3am setting up for everything. Those EMachines were crap, the Toshiba laptops were crap, and even those gateway laptops for $500 were also crap. We did terrible with all of them. People came in with exactly $162 for the desktop, so we couldn't sell serivice or attach anything else. There was a good 400 people in line when we opened, and a good 50-100 people outside when I got there. It's fun. TIme flies by.

Last year I was at Circuit City and was a senoir. I was on the main register ringing people up, and making sure that my people were doing their job right. Kinda hard to do both. Lots of fun though. This year at BBY, Im not senoir, but I'm next in line to be senoir. The current senoir ended up having problems, so I took over for some time and made sure everything ran smoothly.

For once, the customers werren't runing and fighting. Mostly everyone was decent. One of my girls there got called stupid, and one customer fell alseep in the isle, but it was all good.

Store banked $671,000 for the day. Normal budget is about $90,000. My department not only hit ours, but killed it at 165% to budget. We rock. That's all I can say.

I cant say the emachines are good at all, the celeron isnt a very good processor(sp?) but it all depends on what its being used for. I myself just went to bestbuy for the 79.99 160gig external HD.
