Re: 96 Lumina 3.4L engine

Nope. Money got tight and we had to part. Felt like I had my nuts ripped out.

It's a '94, first year for them, and they were all black. The dark cherry and green/grays came out in '95-'96. All had the 5.7L LT-1 with 4L60E 4-speed auto and posi diff.

At least I sold it to my friend who:

1. Is a Chevy guy, and treats it like I would
2. Gave me first option if he has to sell it
3. Will sell it back to me at the same price if I want

This was the only terms I could stand to part with it. I feel like it's a child custody issue or something. I get to see it and drive it from time to time, which is nice, but I don't have it in my driveway, which sux.

For the last year and a half, it's been sleeping under a cover in his garage, he's busy with other stuff and can't afford to feed it with gas the way it is. He's the one with the 1995 9C1 Caprice that could outrun the SS slightly full out on the highway...my governor cut-out is at 143mph, he passed me when mine started pulling back. He has different gears and taller tires, but otherwise identical drivetrains. He put Dynomax cans on his and has a chip, same mods as mine but I have Flowmaster Delta Force.

Brain's 9C1

His has the police certified speedo with every mph marked (for pacing speeds) He said he was indicating 154-155 when his layed down and stopped pulling. Some have tried to bullshit flag me for this, but we will demonstrate if any doubters wanna see.
