u think that is awesome wait until u see the sl55amg... 493bhp and 510lb/ft of torque -- the fastest mercedes ever!!! --- and thats sayin something:smoka:

I'm not saying that it isn't beautiful, but it is just a typical Mercedes. I still love it but I am not shocked or anything. Nice car...

I've seen one on display this weekend at the "Race-Rally" show in Maastricht - The Netherlands. It was completely accessible, I tell you the SL is the most beautifull, well engineered car of the last decade!! They even opened the hood at some point to show the V-8!

Thank God it's a typical Mercedes. It would have been a shock if it looked like a BMW...

how can u call a 5th gen sl500 (legendary car) typical??? $100k+ doesnt seem typical to me... astounding is more like it.
