Excellent work! Those cobra colours paints really come up nicely.
My only suggestion would be perhaps to scribe the door grooves a little deeper... for the next one of these you do... hehe Could just be a trick of the light, but they look a bit shallow to me. Overall outstanding job, will look great on the shelf!

This model is really cool.
I saw this one yesterday in person, the pics don't do it justice-they aren't in focus enough to convey just how deep/perfect the finish is, nor the rich "grape" color. The paint job is probably the shiniest I've ever seen-you could go swimming a mile deep in the clear, Matt is officially a polishing fool

Thanks for all the great comments. I'm really happy with the finish of this car and glad you guys like it.
Obsessivemdlr - This car has 3 coats of Cobra colors clear on it. I sanded it lightly and then added 1 light coat of Tamiya clear. proosen - I didn't have any grey areas, are you seeing the pearl flakes? your body looks similar to mine before clear. A bit lighter shade of purple, but very similar. Captain Mark - The panel lines seem ok in person. This sysem of paints definately needs good panel lines though. 3-4 coats of primer, 2 coats of black, 3-4 coats of color, and 3-4 coats of clear when into this finish. 14 coats of paint airbrushed on is a lot. ZoomZoom - Thanks! I think this finish is one of, if not THE best I've pulled off so far.
