That service writer was living in the olden days. That is the way it used to be. Things have changed and they are able to cross-warranty any GM product if they chose to do so.

I take my wife's Pontiac to the GMC dealer for warranty repairs, because I used to work there and trust the techs there. Had warranty work done on my Chevy Tahoe there too. (That truck sure kept them busy )

Mine ALWAYS goes to the GMC dealer here. The Chevy dealer is an insult to GM.

I like the new GMC looks these days.They just look alittle bit more smoother.I like the silverado 99-02 look too,but if i was trying to buy a new truck i would buy a GMC,just because of the frontend looks better.

yes i agree the front end of the GMC looks a whole world of nicer then the chevy.
