I had the same problem about a year ago, I would park my car in my lawn and it got egged on two seperate occasions , so I started parking at the top of the driveway, and it got egged there. I had pissed off one guy, but he owned a dealership and wouldn't do something like that. So I started thinking of what I could do about it, besides just clean it off everytime. I thought of sitting in my other car and waiting for them to come by and run them off the road, but they didn't come back. Few days later I heard of egging's all over my town, so it was just a bunch of moron's egging random cars.

do this:

get the camera an catch the bastard red handed in the pics. dont go out an do anything. just get the pics.

go and tell the father, if he is the cop's kid. tell him you have the pics an tell him its happened before. show him the pics an explain what's happened, you want compensation an you want something done about this.

now, if the father does something good, problem solved. the little shit learns his lesson an leaves you alone.

if the father's all "though shit, i dont care" go to the local paper, something popular that lots of local people will read. get them to print the story an show them how cops an their families are above the law an above jsutice. have the kid an the parents in the heat of it, show everyone what they're like.

everyone will lose respect for them, they'll be in deep shit on an professional, parental an social level.

going to the paper sounds like a good idea. but depending on where you live, if it's a big city, i don't really think they will give a poop about some cops kid egging your car. i would just get the pics so you know who it is.

each week do something different to his car. take his wiper blades. unscrew the antenna. or get a BIG BIG piece of concrete and put it right behind the car, so there is maybe half inch between the back bumper and the piece of concrete. then watch him try and move it. i'm all down for the real mean stuff, but seein how it's a cops kid, that sort of makes it a little tough in what all you can do to him.

Here are a couple of things I did in high school to someone who liked to break into cars:

1. Steal their steering wheel. It looks really funny when they go to drive home and they can't.

2. Remove their tires, block the car, put tires on the hood and trunk, drive home with some lug nuts in your pockets.

when somone broke into the car that belonged to my mate's dad, he found them (wasn't hard the cruised the area every friday lookin for cars) by following them. one night he went out. put the car on blocks an used a pertol angle-grinder the cut the the hubs an other bits off, he cut through the A-arms an steering linkages too.

taught them a lesson, an i dont think they knew who did it either.

Ooooh... what about pulling the plugs to drain their oil/tranny/differential fluids? Even better if you catch all the oils so there is no evidence before they start it up

If its an older car, get under the hood and put an eraser over the coil wire then plug it back in, they will go nuts trying to figure it out. Another thing, remove the driveshaft if its rwd, just make sure its blocked so it doesn't roll. Or, disconnect the transmission linkage. Can't drive it to go egg cars if you can't shift.....

hook the whole car up to the mains, or better still, the electricity supply before its droppped to 110v (right ? its 240v in UK) when the bastards touch the car they'll get some huge shock (literally) like on the BMW 7 series in the James Bond film.

I think the intent is not to kill, just slow down, embarass or maim slightly. Still, 110v running through someone... Make sure there is a big puddle of salt water that they are standing in, it should make things more interesting.

Install a locking gas cap on their car

They'll shit a brick when they go to fill up!

Also, if you puncture their tire(a la nail or something), start pumping in LOADS of that slime stuff that seals the tires. Whenever they go to get new tires or get the car patched(I don't think the slime stuff really works forever) it will go everywhere, costing the owner more money since it's added time.

ONE MORE!!!
Get the proper hammer/tool to remove and add wheel-weights that are used to balance tires. Take them off his car, and install them opposite on the rim where they were. The wheels will be horribly balanced making higher speed driving very interesting.
