'97 here as well.
Gonna contact the dealership and ask them how much it would be for them to replace the whole engine protectent piece. The flatpart unbolts from the main heart of the front skidplate, but the main part of it is so bent that I don't even know if I can get to my oil filter when need-be. Think I'm gonna do that, then give a copy of the bill to the tire store.
