Update:

I'm done with all the 'series' races in GT3 now, but still have a couple individual races to clean off... then it's time to complete the dreadful endurance races I thought it was bad in GT2... GT3's endurance races are psychotic.

I actualy think the endurance races are pretty easy. I just pic an afternoon where I know I won't be disturbed for a few hours and get into it. Its important to set the car up for the track your on, then just go for it. The Comp cars will start out fast early, but by half way most have fallen of the pace, and by the end I tend to win by a good lap or more.
(unless im in one of the F1 cars, then its a good couple of laps. )

Im about 75% of the way through, but dont yet have the S class license, that damn GT40 is driving my mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(also haveing Grand Theft Auto3, The devil may cry and a life has slowed me down a little. ahhhh summer..........)

75% but no S-license? Aren't you running out of races to play?

It's really tough for me to deal with the enduros, simply because I can't afford huge timeblocks to spend on the PS2. This is also why I am SO thankful that there are saving capabilities within the series (I usually only have time to do about 2 parts of the series each time I play). I felt comfortable leaving my PSX on for hours at a time when I had to leave in the middle of an enduro, but I fear that my PS2 could burn out after doing that a lot (my friend's PS2 DID happen to knock out after doing so). Ahhhh... the dread awaits me.

Devil May Cry is great, ain't it?

ohhhh mate! Its rocks!
I have a mate who works in a game store so I saw a prerelease demo about 3months ago. Went down and made the first preorder in the country for the game. (it got me a limited edtion print set number 1066 od 1100 )
Only problem is im playing it on a 20yr old 20inch TV, with only mono sound while the big TV with surround is getting fixed.

Iv got one more championship race to do, and about 3-4 enduros I think before I run out of races, so yeah I really need to work on the S lisence.

Iv left my PS2 on several times over night while Iv paused an enduro race, nothing bad has happened to it. And a mate has played his almost non stop for a whole weekend with no trouble.
Apprently they only suffer from over heating if placed directly on carpet. The little fans in them are very strong and they apparently suck up a lot of dust. So if your going to have it on the floor then sit it on something about 3inchs high, other wise keep it on a shelf under or near the TV.
