Thanks for the link, bnaylor.
I don't think Bush wanted her to resign, seems she will be staying on as White House counsel/advisor. She seems competent enough, I just think the Senate wasn't ready to have her ramrodded through so quickly after Roberts, and are trying to control the court's composition.
