First off I bought my truck new and changed my diffs every 25-30k miles. Now I have Yukon 4.88's and an Auburn LSD. Which makes it a lot stronger. As for the GM 10 bolt, it gets a bad rap. While it is no 14 bolt SF, it is not as bad as most people think. A majority of the problems stem from the inferior G80 locker (made by Eaton). Those tend to blow up first taking the pinion out with it.

please tell me you are reffering to replacing the oil and not the actual Diff's
That would be an awful lot money
