Re: Need nos info

are u talking about the video i posted in here a month ago when the gt jumps out by a fender then the ss rolls on past hime, and the second race some supra decides it will be a good idea to get in on the fun and gets smoked as well? funny thing is that guy came from rev and lives in cali now. great video right. and the rule of 20's is the best i can tell anyone. like i said u still can break something if u use it like water but if u act right and dont be spraying like a fool everytime u are at a light then u should be fine. we have lt1 cars spraying 150 shots on stock blocks. and alot of people dont like the bottle or they talk down about it, calling it cheat juice, say what u want...u spend 3-7 grand for a turbo setup or a s/c, put that on your stock engine and see what happens. u will break all kinds of shit. u have to have the engine built for those things and when its done right u get good gains..easy a 600-700hp car. for close to 5k. if u are lucky, many dont see gains like that because they just add the bolt ons with no other work. now pay 600-100 bucks on a nitrous setup ..then if u are like me another g for some built internals and u have a car with unlimited power..well as unlimited as your rearend will handle...u cant find no other mod that will give u 200hp gains everytime on the market. its the better bang for your buck

ya that's the same guy... funny thing behind that story is that supra is a 1000hp supra lol, just supra's take forever to get in their power band and cars like ours jump out on them so hard that is next to impossible to catch up even with all the power that supra has...

the video i have tho is a 14min compilation of the camaro, showing a bunch of differnent races, dyno runs, pan-arounds of the car and what-not... its an awesome video... with bolt-ons that guy's ls1 lays down about 400hp, then he has a 200shot that pushes him over 600hp... awesome car, and its a stock-block ls1... i'm jealous of those freakin 6-bolt mains that you ls1 guys have... lol cheaters...

my car has more than enough power for daily driving... i don't need 600hp for day-to-day driving, but i like the idea of being able to crank it up that high if i ever think i might lose... but to each their own, i totally understand why one would want the power all the time... i just think it isn't necessary...

Yeah whats up with Supra's and their weird ass powerbands man? How high in the RPM do they have to be to get their full potential?

About Nitrous.. I like the idea, except the fact that you'd have to refill after use.. maybe im too lazy to drive over there to refill? But anyway, nitrous is cool because you dont always need that much HP and nitrous is like an on and off switch of when you need that extra HP.

some supra's have really low power levels all the way until 6-7 grand... then the powerband just JUMPS straight up, near verticle... that's when they hit highest boost levels... and most of them don't make shitworth power until those high boost levels...

the other thing i love about nitrous is that it doesn't take up room underneath the hood, just some lines and solenoids... whereas turbo setups can involve huge amounts of space, fabrication and such... plus nitrous is cheaper initially, ya filling it up does suck, but high hp cost alot of money no matter which way you go lol

usually the amount of boost and fuel that is crammed in there... to get more power out of supra's you build up the engine and just throw in more fuel and more boost
