Re: A sad day...

This could just be the beer talking but what about one of those car bras and then every day you just hose off the chassis? Salt problem? I don't think so!

I wouldn't put one of those bras on my car ever, those things are ugly to begin with not to mention the fact that they scratch the shit out of your paint job and can cause the paint underneath not to fade so your car looks really bad when you take the bra off. Plus, my concern with the salt is more for the chassis of the car, exhaust system, and the body too so the bra won't do.

Re: A sad day...

I just did the same thing recently. My car went down for the winter about a month ago. Cancelled insurance aswell, considering the car will be down for 8-10 months. Paying for school outta pocket and gotta nasty credit card bill i'm trying to get down, plus an up coming swap, which i can't wait to start. I hate not being able to drive my maro. I just use my grandma's corolla to get to places that i need to get badly, if not really important, public transportation works for me.

Haha todays high so far was 82, and it gives WELL into the negatives here in the winter. Like last winter, a kid in Massachusetts almost died waiting for the bus, and he was only out for like 10 or so minutes. Maine sucks, too hot in summer, too cold in winter.

I live in Miami, and at 55 its about as cold as it is in wisconsin at 35 (I visited wisonsin at 25-35 degrees so I know). becuse of the humidity in the air, remember miami is surrounded by the ocean.

????

When does 55* = 35*... EVER. Humidity ain't all that big of a factor, and if anything humdity makes the HEAT feel hotter...

once you get below 32* (or there about) there is virtually no humidity....

I don't think anyone in the history of Miami or even the whole state of Florida, has ever experienced anything even remotely close to a northern winter. Think about it... you guys get a friggin tropical storm or hurricane anywhere from December thru February and you get rain... we get buried. North Dakota??? Wisconsin??? if you're from Miami you are way out of touch with reality if you think you've ever had a winter down there like one anywhere from the midwest on up.

Re: A sad day...

I live in michigan and its not that bad, that only bad thing is there is no change time between seasons, what i mean by that is that it will be nice and hot, and then one day all of the sudden its really damn cold no slow change of going down slowly each day just BAM cold. same when summer is coming there is virtually no spring, one day it could snow the next it could be 85 and sunny and the next day it could be freezing again. kinda weird but you get used to it.

yeah, but only if you're stupid about the weather and don't use your head when it comes to being out in it, like drinking a lot of water in the heat and staying inside when it's too cold... it's called natural selection.
