I have one.. I used to have three hatchetmen on my car but decided to take em off because where I live in if a cop sees a hatchetman they think gangmember and I could do without being pulled over for no reason..

Btw a hatchetman is this..

There was this huge one on the back, bottom right of my Camaro.. one on the bottom right of my driver door and another on the center on my front windshield.. You can see em if you look at my gallery.

well... it's your choice.... but personally what I really like about my 3" hood lift-off (not bolt-on) is that the top of the cowl is made at the exact same angle as the windshield glass. it makes a big difference as far as styling goes... compared to the other hoods. I bought mine from http://www.championfiberglassproducts.com/products.html for $199 and $80 shipping, the best deal I found after months of looking.

Re: Does anyone have a cowl hood? Quik Question

How exactly do i get the lift off hodd on, does it connect to the existing hinges or what?

Also, how did you get your speedo and everything that blue color? That would look a lot better then the orangeish i have going on right now with my blue interior and head unit color

Re: Does anyone have a cowl hood? Quik Question

Not sure if this is going to get answered, but instantkevin how do you put those lift off hoods on? Im confused with those metal grommet type deals, do they just screw down .. obvously, but what do they screw down into? Is it required to drill holes, can it be mounted on the pre-existing hinges, etc?
