I like em all, will probably own them all. But I prefer one over the other like any car owner.

Let everyone hate me. I like '68 and '69, and '85-'92.

Maybe it's a bad torque convertor? I don't know.

That's why I was asking what transmission you guys have in your cars that way we could venture some guesses as to what could be going wrong when you let off the gas.

I-ROC KID said he has a 700R4, and I'd wager 91camaro_rs has the same.

Well then I hope somebody who knows the 700R4 well can take a stab at what could be wrong my only guess is that something that is supposed to be letting the engine seperate from the drive train when you let off the gas is not doing it's job correctly. I don't know all that much about the inner workings of transmissions and nothing about the 700R4 specifically.

Whats jerking? Describe please.
whatever is jerking it feels like its coming from behind the engine. its an automatic transmission also. but there is no problems any other time, just when i let off the gas between 40 and 50 mph.

Re: Re: Re: jerking when i let off gas between 40 and 50 mph

Sounds like an internal transmission problem. Something wrong with a valve, clutch, band, ect., but that's just my best guess.

Re: jerking when i let off gas between 40 and 50 mph

could also be the convertor locking/unlocking on its way out
