Sorry Bobby, it was a last minute thing. Since I wasn't feeling good most of the afternoon, I just started feeling fine and decided what the hell? Shot up there, came home at 2:30am. Got to bed around 4am... them woke up at 5am to puke. Was weird, I got sick... got better went out and drove, raced and hung out and drove home... then when I got home I got sick again. wtf.. lol

TV should be coming down soon. Should be getting weekends off at a new job hopefully. So it'll be cool to have him down here everyonce in a while. When he comes down next time I'll let you know.

Re: Z28 vs SRT4; 240z vs Z28; 240z vs 5.0 a busy night!

Why are you giving me directions to Elm and Ocean Blvd? I don't even live near there. Neither did you. Infact, that's the Westins Hotel & Resort.

Of course you're going to add miles to the trip by going south on the 710, that takes you a few miles out of the way plus all the downtown sidestreet bullshit.

If you want to be specific Matt, here is the trip from my front door to yours as told by the Magical Google.

1. Head south from N Bellflower Blvd - go 0.6 mi
2. Turn right into the I-405 N entry ramp - go 37 mi
...
3. Take the US-101 N/US-101 S ramp to Ventura/Los Angeles - go 0.5 mi
4. Bear left onto the US-101 N ramp to Ventura - go 45 mi
...
5. Take the exit to Johnson Dr/Montalvo - go 0.2 mi
6. Bear right at North Bank Dr - go 0.1 mi
7. Turn left at Johnson Dr - go 1.1 mi
8. Turn right at Meadow Lark St - go 0.1 mi
9. Turn left at Thrasher Ct - go 0.0 mi

84.6 mi (about 1 hour 24 mins)

Like I said, 85 miles Bro.

Don't forget I drive that route for work every so often, I get bored driving the long distances through traffic so to keep my mind from seizing I keep track of milege. Like, I could show you the exact half way point between my shop in Long Beach and Sea World in San Diego is on the 5 freeway.

Especially cause I drive that route at least once a week.

But yes, we'll have our fun once the clutch is good to go!

I have no clue what the line is much less what move it is from. Its bugging the crap out of me though. Could you inform us so I can stop replaying the video over and over again and giving my computer the same puzzled look my dog has when he watches tv.

Smokey and the Bandit, when Burt Reynolds floors the Trans Am for the first time and dusts the cop. He goes "buhh bye baby..."

It's a great line. And for some reason I tend to say it during racing, whether I'm winning or losing.

The trans am from that movie had less than 200 hp...it couldn't dust its own shadow

That's not the point... the movie it's self was badass. And considering the power of cars back in those days, it wasn't all that slow. Comparitively speaking.

Yeah the movie was pretty tight and Sally Field never looked more delicious.
