thanks for the words of encouragement,I doubt I will have any help but I am quite sure I can get it done.actually I have no choice! LOL.. as far as a jumper as you know the hoses are of different diameter. I looked in my dads assortment of pipe fittings and found one! it has threads on the larger end and barbs on the smaller end,perfect fit! Dave
UPDATE!! dash is out(about 4 to 5 HRS) chilton's manual is lacking in info...to say the least.had to ask chevy dealer mechanic how to get core housing from firewall.will have core out tomorrow.should take about 3 hours to put everything back,with luck I"ll be done tomorrow evening.. Dave
UPDATE! finally finished the project! don't know exactly how long it took but it was around 15 hours.major pain to do, but I am happy I did it myself! dave
