Yeah yeah we know... its YOUR kid. YOUR flesh and blood. Well guess what. If you do a shitty job of raising that kid, and screw them up psycologically, which no offense but you likely would considering your situation, society has to deal with him/her 18 years down the road. You are just not far enough along in life to be able to PROPERLY support and mentor another human life. Let someone who has the means, the knowledge, and the desire, but not the ability (meaning they can't have kids of their own), do it. They will do a better job. The kid will have a better life. You could still visit the kid too. You and your gf will be able to go to college and make something of yourselves.

IMO not giving the kid up for adoption would be unwise and selfish on your part.

So please, don't let your emotions get in the way. Think with your head, not your heart, and give the kid a proper family. For society's sake if not just the kid's.

QFT. Come on man, you were at mcdonalds. If you really love this kid and want him/her to have a fair chance to succeed in life, give the kid up for adoption. If your girl doesn't want to get rid of the kid, and you can't make her, get the state involved.

Re: damn

Did you talk to yours and her parents about this yet?

If either parents are going to help raise the kid then he/she will be fine and this is your best option if you want to "keep" your kid.

Hopefully this will be a lesson to other kids out there. Sex is all fun and games until someone gets pregnant. Then you wish you had a time machine to go back and do it over. Don't let the little head do the thinking for the big head!
