that's why it is MILES.per.gallon.
I understand the concept, but city driving around here(for me) is mostly 45-60mph in 6th gear. The only time I'm not in 6th is below 40MPH which is roughly 2K RPMs in 6th.

Did anyone see the Jimmy Kimmel and Clay Aiken "60 second segment" (so many jokes that i'm not gonna say)? Clay had a football jersey on and was teaching Kimmel how to throw a sprial during one of the NFL games. I was laughing so much and everyone around me thought I was retarded or something

Aren't you retarded? Laughing at Gay Aiken throwing a football?

Just kidding. You let yourself open to ridicule and I just couldn't resist!

cliff - you should be getting ~ 30mpg if you're driving in sixth most of the time. I don't see how you can do that in city driving if you're bumper to bumper going < 40 mph unless your city doesn't have much traffic.

Traffic is not really bad here, there are alot of stops at lights, but other than that its 40+mph in 6th, I'm thinking the stops got to be the cause.

That's actually city driving with all the stop lights. You use a lot more gas accelerating than just maintaining your speed. You should be getting ~25mpg in this case.
