Re: Wagons?

WRX wagon for easy modding or Magnum with a Hemi if you don't care about gas mileage.

Yeah. I guess I'll go with the Impreza since gas mileage is a factor as part of my job is delivering stuff for my boss and he doesn't pay for gas.

Anyways, thanks for the help guys. Quick question, what do you mean when you say the Imperza is/is not boosted?

Oh yeah, are you serious about the Volvo remarks or were you just joking around? I know those would be serious sleepers. Thank you for all of the help guys.

Subaru Impreza's come in both non-turbo and turbo models. The Impreza WRX is the turbo model.

dead on with the volvos if i found a healthy 850R sedan some how in the volvo grey i'd trade my car in a heartbeat.

vovlos fucking own sadly no real US following.

Vovlos are nearly as comfy as a Bimmer sportier then most sedans safer then a few armored fighting vechiles and look sweet.

Re: Wagons?

Its already turboed, so a three inch exhaust, intake, down pipe, and an MBC should do you some serious good. Dunno if its low 13s capable, but it'll drop your times a bit.

Also, I guess I should have mentioned this but I like the looks of the Suzuki Aerio SX, Toyota Matrix, Kia Spectra5, and Pontiac Vibe. Do these cars have any potential? Thank you.

well theres a crown vic wagon with a 5.0... theres also the country squire with the 5.0. those are the only ones i know of.

out of a wrx and magnum id go with a wrx. the magnum has that 345hp motor... but from what ive heard it only puts 255 to the wheels.

Re: Wagons?

I made sound crazy but I might go with the Suzuki Aerio SX. I was searching the forums and they said that the only way I could run 13's is with a custom turbocharger. Mind you this would be quite expensive but think of the sleeper this car would make.

Anyways, how much money would it cost a Impreza wagon to get to run 13's?

Thanks.

Depends on how much work your willing to do, and your need for brand name parts. I don't know all that much about pricing for parts of the Subarus, mostly just ther cars, but if the trend holds the same, I don't think all that much more than a thousand bucks. You could either buy a full exhaust, or just go to a Minke or other muffler place, and ask them to fab one for you, and it shouldn't cost more than $500. Ebay Intake wont be more than $300. However, I dunno how much MBCs and BOVs are running for. You would need the MBC to up the boost.

Of course, I'm just applying the Supra formula (the so called BPU formula, or DP/E/BCC/MBC with boost uped to 17-18psi, and you have a reliable 400whp car) to the WRX, I'm not 100% sure how it would work out.

About 280awhp. UTEC, complete exhaust (up pipe, down pipe, etc), MBC/EBC, forced performance 16g (fp is my preference), and a big front mount intercooler. Good clutch, good driver, and if the transmission holds up..you should be running high 12s.
