LOL... I can't eat too much Chinese food 'cause I ate too much of it on a 3 week binge years ago

Actually, I do eat it now and then again... and Indian and Malay and Thai - gotta be careful though - fish paste = shellfish = me being violently ill

So does Kimba count? What about Astro Boy?

I got 9 of 11 soft cover mangas of Spriggan nice serie. I got about 20 manga series (soft- and hard-cover) most on german as I don't speak any japanese. I also got Akira as manga (books) which I prefer but also the movie like the other you mentioned.

Both street fighter and dragonball Z have excelent qualities in inerperting a fight. In street fighter I like the fluidity of movement in the characters. They did a good job of captureing the essence of movement of a trained martial artist. In dragon ball Z the illistration techniques for representing super human powers is ingenous. Especially the visual representation of somthing intagable such as short raged teleportation.
All and all I agree that dragon ball Z and streetfighter Kick major ass!!!

The cardcapter series is a bit girlie for me. All that pink is enough to drive somone mad. My little sitter used to worship that show. She bought almost all the dalls in the Northamerican series. However she wore it out by over exposing her self to the stuff. Card capters dose have strong good points though. The character design is great. It rpresents some of the ways of fasion in the japanese culture. The artwork , like alot of manga and anime, is streamlined in simplicity yet keeps esential elements to convey the message. As I metioned before , other than the color pink the creaters are clever in their use of color to convey mood and the veiwing audience. I can go on and on cause I'm in essay mode. (dam school!) But all and all a good product for it's intended purpous.

I agree. Though it's a cool cartoon, there's just to much bs.

My sister just bought the first DVD of Orphen.

I really want to get the ranma series, but you can't get it here only overseas...hmmmmmm.....perhaps will order it later on.....only worried that it comes in region 1, and even though my dvd player is multi-zoned some of the newer region 1 releases....have extra coding which may even restrict multi-zoned machines to play it.
