Re: Red smoke tires
Boy, that red turns to pink pretty quickly. I don't want the red ones anymore. Give me some blue or green ones.

sorry to bring back a dead thread, but... Formula D has made these tires illegal on the circuit because they aren't available to the public. So its stands to reason that Kumho should make them available to everyone so they can use them in competition. So who knows, maybe they will be for sale before too long.

Re: Red smoke tires
Nothing wrong with bringing up a old thread if it has valuable information on it. Do have a article or press realse confirming this? I'd say with all the money they have put into these tires then for Formula D to say that i would most likley expect a protest b4 the street realesed them but still there is a big possibility.

no hard evidence as of yet. i found out about this by watching formula d. they showed a clip of the car drifting with the 'red smoke' tires, and then commented on the fact that formula d had outlawed them. then they showed the car drifting with white smoke tires and said that they would have to stick with those. i'll hunt around and try to find if there is an article or something about this to confirm it.
