my 97 v6 with 1 point (4 points, but 3 got knocked off... i dunno if theyre still on insurance points tho) runs me around 400 every 6 months... then again im in NJ, that would prolly be 200-250 every 6 months in other states.

99 Z28, $680 a year, but that's mostly due to my age (37 and married)and the fact that we live in a rual area.
In answer to his original question, I guess that's not too bad of a price, but like someone said before, the car has been repainted at the least. Seems to be a 5.0, but has a 91-92 Z rear spoiler and stripes, but an RS type hood. I'd beware and ask a bunch of questions and drive it first.

Insurance where I live sucks because of the damn "no fault law." The law basically says if someone runs into you, your own insurance gets to cover you. Since I live in tourist central the collision rate is extremely high. Due mainly to tourists getting lost, and tourists from other countries that drive on the wrong side of the road, oh and the drivers from South America that have an international license but have never driven a car before...
but hey this is paradise right?

Glad I dont live there, that law would make me get a Silverado 350, with a rollcage on it and a huge ass grill bar like those that can bring down trees with ease.
