You could always do what like a lot of people here do. Go to a boarders or a book store, grab a magazine something to eat and a soda, and just chill at a table and read it all take your time, put it back when your done, and be on your way.

Re: Oil Change

If you see on the cover it says 3$US or 5$ CDN, that also take sinto account the exange rate.

Lol ya totally just randomly went to everything that it could.

Down in so cal, people will sit in a book store and finish like a 300 page book, its odd, but whatever, book store doesnt seem to mind, their still making $2.59 off that ice tea.

Re: Oil Change

Someone did some research into oil filters a while back. I can't find the link right now, but basically it came down to...

OEM filters are the BEST!

If you look at the filter (where all the little holes are): most aftermarket filters have different sizes. This messes up oil flow to/from engine. Then he took apart the filters and found that OEM had a couple inches MORE actual filter element inside. Then there's a purge valve incase the filter is clogged, (or for starting).. The after market ones had this flimsy/crappy rubber thing for the cap. Basically the quality on the OEM was better. FRAM was the worst out of the ones he checked!

So next change, just go down to the dealer parts dept and grab a filter. They're priced inbetween a FRAM(cheap) and a Mobil1(expensive). Oil filters are prob the only reasonably priced part from the dealership...

Re: Oil Change

fram filter sucks. I just use the oem oil filter from the nissan dealership. They usually have deals so it's not too expensive, around $6 a filter or so

Re: Oil Change

I don't do it on my own because I have no money for a jack and jack stands.

And fine, for the next change I'll get an OEM one.

Oh and it's Castrol, not Gastrol.
