Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

i wouldnt try an do anything to that mans car, earl might come out and bite the sh*t out of u. as for your pin strip problem just get a new paint job u wont get it off without killing your paint, and i hope that is a female because i dont ever remember "her" saying she was i just caught the kisses part. that would be some real funny sh*t if thats a dude.as for that gas pedal i suggest more leg arobics thats just eight shades g..! i bet that sucks on long drives.

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

are the stripes on the surface of the paint or have they been applied and then cleared over?
If they are on the surface, and they were not applied with a hardened paint you can use 3M Super Duty Rubbing compound and buff them off.
(if you dont know what your doing get someone who does to do this for you.) you can burn the hell out of your paint or cut thru the clear. DONT USE an electric buffer you cannot control the speed and they have way too many RPM's. Use an air BUFFER / POLISHER with a lambswool pad, Not a grinder with a pad.

If they are subborn, you can lightly water sand with micro fine (1500 grit) sand paper before buffing back to a shine
As stated before , if you dont know what you are doing get someone who does to do it for you.

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

Maybe if you take your time with a sharp razor you can scrape it off, but I'm sure you'll have to get that section touched up. If you're careful enough might just need new clearcoat on it, but I don't really recommend it unless you're totally confident and get about 20 other guys on this site to back that up lol, I have no idea.

For the stiff gas pedal, disconnect the throttle cable from the throttlebody and see if the pedal is still hard to move. If it is, you need a new cable, it is kinked inside somewhere. If it isn't stiff, try actuating the throttlebody by hand, if it is the problem.....well there are 2 routes to go. 1 Look on E bay for the people that rebuild them or get a new one. If this is a TPI engine.

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

Yeah... snap your back in half trying to pick HIM up. Then you'd be easy pray for the old Deliverance style ass whooping he'd inflict. Then you'd have to do "the walk of ETERNAL shame"... that's when you have to limp home from the mother-of-all-porkings inflicted by a fat dog (who's nuts were about the size of tennis balls before he got neutered, ew, yuck) that left snail trails on your back and all kind of nasty slobber smeared all over the back of your head. EWWWWWWwwwwwwwww!!!

Just kidding. Take him. I want a bulldog. Actually no I don't. I would relish in the monetary freedom gained from not having to feed a bottomless pit.

lol, but after 4 days of "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, someone stole Earl, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" you would fork over a few hundred just to have him back...

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

Shit. Everytime they see someone else's dog they ask if we can give Earl back and get a "little" dog.

The one who would really be upset is my 19 month old daughter who like the noise he makes when she steps on his johnson. OhhhhhNOooooooo!
