I would go back to 9/11 with a couple of boxs made to look like bombs and tell the people in the World Trade Centers that I was going to blow them up about 1 hour before the planes hit. That way there wouldn't be anyone there when the tragedy struck.

taken comedian Dane Cook's idea of what to do in the past:

i'd go back to when my parents were conceiving me, bust down the door and run into the bedroom, slap my dad on his ass and yell "WOOOOOO GO GIT 'EM TIGER! I'M YOUR SON FROM THE FUTURE! WHAAHHAAAA!!!!" and then run out.

search for audio clips about time travel and the DMV by Dane Cook, freakin hilarious.

Actually I'd go back in time and claim the rights toward fire. Then collect all the royalties. Take my best friend, some florida people (only girls) with me and help populate the world.

Re: If You could go back in time...

It would be fun to show up in the USA in the early 1900's when the automobile was just taking off. Since the roads were crap back then I'd bring a Jeep Rubicon just to watch every ones jaw drop when I showed them what my horseless carriage could do.

Then I'd go to 1965 and only bring enough money to order a new Shelby Mustang. I'm not greedy that would be enough.

I'd go back, save my cadillac from getting wrecked and fixed my high school career. Got with the girl I was planning to be with. Could have made life a shitload easier.

Re: If You could go back in time...

Since it'd change too much, I'd simply go back to spring semester, get good grades, so I wouldn't need a job this summer so I could be somewhere else...

Re: If You could go back in time...

I would go back to October 2002 and tell myself to go to a different doctor than who I went to back then for the crap I had to have surgeries for over the past 3 years. That would completely change everything in my life. I would also give myself all of the copies of tests I have with the answers on them so I could get even more scholarships than I already have, muhahahaha! Then I would clone a midget of myself and use a "laser beam" aboard my "death star" to threaten the governments of the world and demand 100 billion dollars.

You know, reading all these responses and debating with my own thoughts, I have come to the conclusion that the best thing is to be a selfish prick and just do something that would only benefit me.
One cannot change history no matter what one tries or says. I would love to go back in history and correct a few things, stopping Hitler, Pearl Harbour, 9/11 etc etc, but most likely one will fail in doing so. They would either kill you or your plan will be stopped. Like a member said, they would probably think you are mad and lock you up somewhere. Now wouldn't that be a bitch.

I say screw it,
go back to where the lottery was the second biggest and play the numbers. Bring with me a pda which has the biggest jackpots in a months time (horse, lotto, etc) and play them all.
