Well I have an extra 2g N/T ECU sitting around from when I though mine was bad.

Hey on cams on cam gear side their is a square with a bit K on it. And on my 2g stock cams thats not their? Are they aftermarket or?

The to4b Garrett 50. So is that just a standered 50 trim garret? What are the capable of?
Also I belive that my other garrett is a to4e on the side of it it says a/f .60 or something like that. Does that mean its a 60 trim?

Are bigger injectors phicaly bigger?

I have been pricing stuff out for the rebuild.
I found Eagle Rods, Wiseco Pistons, and rings for about $800. With the combonation of front case kit, timing belt kit/gasket kit, oil pump. It comes out to be more then if I were to just go to slowbloy order their topline rebuilt kit and not even use the rods/pistons. The kit does not have the oil pump but still. Anything bad about just ordering that kit and get those forged rods and pistons?

to4e is still more common. the only to4b i've heard of is the bullseye line. Depending on the turbine wheel and turbine housing, 50 trims are supposed to be like 47lbs/min. You can get a variety of A/R's on any garrett, so the .60A/R does not mean 60 trim. It's the size of the turbine housing.

I think I remembering the guy talking about bullseye and the turbos. On the side of the WG acuator it says to4b. I think I am gunna use that one. Beacause its working. The other garret turbo I have has never been used and it just wont spin. You put ur finger in their to try to get it to spin and it doesent spin or move.

Also I think I am going to use a Starion intercooler. I was on vfaq and ya. Looks like a good setup for the price. But would it take a 50 trim?

Also what do you guys would think be better. That head up their or a rebuilt head from slowboys.

For injectors I think that I may get 880's beacause their seem to be a decent number of used ones for sale for 250-300. I dont think I will be able to afford DSM link right off the bat, so I may get a keydriver/dsmchip chip. If I have to. For an aeromotive AFPR do I need the install kit.(extremePSI)? What do you guys think of this reg.

I was looking at the motor mounts today and they are fucking worked time for some polys. Dam it costs a lot to fully rebuild a bottom end.

Is the starion worth it when ebay intercoolers are under $200? Both custom piping. I really really really wouldn't waste your money on anything less than DSMlink right off the bat. Put the 16g in on the sidemount and save up!

Plans have changed once again. I am going to try to get my loan for 4k. After pricing out a full bottom end rebuild I have decided to bite the bullet and get a built block. Any recomandations. I am looking at spending not more then 2k.

I looked at Buschur's blocks but stock rods on them and for 2k ouch. I have also looked at SBR but I have herd bad things about them. Jackson Auto Machine has a nice block for about 2.

Parts = $1200 (Wiseco Pistons and rings, Eagle Rods, all bearings, gaskets and seals, Oil pump, water pump and water pipe.)

Machining = Around $700 (Bore atleast .020 over and hone, Line bore and hone, hot tank and cast flash removal. O-ringing the block is optional but extra.)

Labor = $600 (Roughly 24hrs worth of work @ $25 an hr. 1/2 price from what I would usually charge cause your on here, same discount I gave Jake or anyone else for that matter.)

Core = $400 (Unless you supply a 6 bolt block, oil pan, and crank in decent shape.)

So your looking at around $2500 plus core for a fully built 6 bolt block, everything new except the crank and block. Just figured I'd throw out some prices since you are looking. We can talk more about the price and what you want done if you cant go that high. Its not about quantity, its about quality!
