Comments on new WRX in the states

1. I think that I have completely grown used to the new WRX and looking at the old imprezas, they seem just that, OLD! We didn't have the WRX in the states with the old body style. So when I think of those, I really can only think that they are as cool as an old modded up RS 2.5 liter.

2. The new imprezas are hydroformed and do very well on crash tests. The old ones only score average. So when I see a new Impreza, I think "safe" and when I see an old one, I think, "Not very safe".

I don't own a WRX, but a Nissan Maxima SE 2002... I can say I actually like the look of the WRX, even though it looks like it "should" be bigger (looks like a big car smashed into a smaller one).

Overall I think it's sexy Especially when its that blue color. My friend and I went to test drive it when it was raining... The beeds of water on that blue color looked SEXY.

When you see a New Impreza, you are most likely looking at a WRX. I am surprised by the very few RS and TS Imprezas in the Portland area.

When you see an old Impreza here, you are probably looking at a 1.8 or 2.2 liter Front wheel drive car.

Needless to say, the old Impreza doesn't do to much for many of us, until we are playing Gran Turismo, or watching old Rally highlights.

My .02.

At first, I didn't like this car. But after seeing a few modded and such, it's grown on me and I wouldn't mind actually getting one.

I think it looks perfectly fine, that's just my opinion. With a few exterior mods, it'll look absolutely gorgeous. I am about to do the headlight conversion in a few weeks. Wish me luck.

First off...Tsui nice car, where do you get the mods? Anyway, I have a '90 Legacy (along w/ my '02 WRX)talking about all GO and a bit of show. I bought the car about a year ago from an old lady with 22000 miles on it. I replaced the CV axels, put an intake and exaust on it and some Konigs 17's. I live in a city below Atlanta, GA and we have NOPI's everywhere and i've blown away every Honda/Acura I come up on. The only thing that has blown me away is a Turbo charged Civic ( I would hope so) I think it's pretty sad that my old Suby could hurt all those Hondas with 1000's of dollars of mods and 106hp (I even hurt a '96 with a 65 shot of nitrous) Talk about all show and NO go. So what I'm trying to say Subaru has it all figured out from the suspension to the transmission. Even the BOXER motor./ No matter what you say HONDA sux. Have fun wasting ur money. Love, Emilie

lol, sorry that not my car, its someone I know. In fact, I can't drive, I'm only 15

But the answer to your question, the mods on the car, is the C-West front bumper, C-West Front Grill, however the side skirts and wing are stock. I personally prefer the full C-West Body Kit for the Impreza, excluding the wing in my opinion (I'm not fond of big wings).

The headlights are seperate. They are Morrette Twin Headlights. The twin headlights look great on the WRX, as well as a perfect replacement for the stock bug-eye lights.

You can get the C-West Kits here:

http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...pid=BDK-CW-IMP

But the only place I can find the Morrette Twin Headlights is at UK sites, but maybe a local shop might have some around your place:

http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/lights.html#p2

You can use search engines and find other site that may offer it cheaper or go on ebay.
