Thanks, I did build all of them-though some are more OOB than others. There isn't any Cord in that group, which car are you talking about? The black car is the Phantom Corsair which is a one-off that was built on a Cord chassis, it's from Scale Kraft of South Africa...a very $$ resin kit, but I just had to have it. The red vintage speedster is a 1934 Ford concept car built for Edsel Ford, so it's called the Edsel Ford Speedster, and the model depicts how it appears today-it was originally gray metallic w/different headlights, was "restored" in the early '50's and that's how the car is today, it's basically a cool survivor...Veyron thinks it looks like the love child of John Deere tractor and a Radio Flyer wagon .

The Corvette Speedster is a simple Monogram snap kit, I think it was an ASC concept originally silver w/yellow interior. It's not the Callaway twin-turbo (though Monogram kitted that one too as a full-detail kit which is pretty sweet). I used PPG Harlequin paint on it and Pegasus rims. Very simple model to build and paint...that paint is so damned easy it isn't funny...black primer, light coat of the color shifting paint, clear to bring out the color and bammo...done.

Here's what the car looks like today, restored to a different color scheme and seen at the Corvette museum:

Sorry! Your model is a charicature of a show car, not a realistic replica.

Chris Bangle is the head designer for BMW, in charge of their recent attempts at "styling" which has resulted in their cars looking like goofy charicatures of what a real BMW should look like. Most of the world is aghast at what new BMW's look like. If Ferrari made a car that looked like your model, people would be rioting in the streets.

I was having a bit of fun at Bangle's expense. As if that is difficult...since a whole new word now exists to describe any styling that has been ruined. The new word is "Bangled".

If there was a model of it, you can be sure it would be on my bench being built! The love child of a 340R and an Enzo. What's not to like about that ?!
