Re: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Xp3 Lives!!!!!!!!

Awesome!!! Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed these pics. I wonder if the black mark on the front of XP3 is from the exhaust of some other car (or the truck it was in if it was not driven the whole way), and not something that the car hit.

yeah it seems the ex-harrods hit something...in the first pic it looks ok and in the second one looks front destroyed.

and the XP3 seems like a motorcycle exhaust or something it's not a hit. better to be dust rather than a hit. it would be a shame...
BTW, great pictures....one of the best!. thank you

Re: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Xp3 Lives!!!!!!!!

If it was an animal or something, the storage compartment would not be misaligned. The carbon fibre is too strong for that. And if he hit a curb, then the grille would not be pushed in, and the lower skirt would be in much worse shape. What on earth did he do??!!! Looks like he grounded out on something that started off small but ended up fairly high, and it lifted the car (from underneath). One of the fasteners protruding inside (from the bottom) that the grille was fastened to must have moved around or gotten ripped out. Also looks like the front storage compartment got a good tweak, and lost a retaining clip or something on one side.

Either that or the car was driven into something low and protruding. It crunched the front bodyshell support column by the grille and pushed the grille in...maybe moved some other things around underneath the front bonnet and caused it to be pushed upwards.

Must have been a good bash for the prepreg to register so much damage. I would love to know the story behind this (but not how much it will take to fix it)! Think it fell off the truck?

Thumbs up Gahh

Just like the strip down the center of the Harrods GTR - Gahh-reen with envy . Oh to be able to see 'um up close. Thanks for the post. Nice shots to all who contributed . One fine job. I know I really get ticked off when I scratch my old clunker. I can't imagine what the feeling must be when you gunch your million dollar ride. . Once again great posts and thanks a ton.

Better than having it collecting dust in a museum or garage not being used. I'm going to drive mine every day when i get it. Thats what they were made for
