what do u reccomend? if all i need is an rpm switch, i can buy a summit rpm switch for liek 40 bucks, or i guess i can get an msd. so ur sayin, i would only need to spend 50-100 and not 200-300? now ur talkin

Nope, all you need to do is activate the vtec solenoid at a certain rpm. Well it just needs a 12v source, you can take a wire off the + side of the battery and run it right to the green wire comming off the solenoid on the back of the head and when you touch it, you should here the solenoid click. If it does, it's working.

Hey dude just be careful.. if u dont know what ur doing just let the shit alone! but if u do run to radioshack.. buy a rocker switch they like $3.49 depending on how u mount it, the switch has 3 male connectors on the back the bottom u wire it to a ground.. the middle u will splice a wire into ur vtec solenoid and then the top u will run to constant power.. if that isnt correct just follow the directions for wiring its easy. if u do get it hooked up and race this dude im sure ur gonna dump it off the line and if u do just activate vtec and leave it on until ur off the accelerater and then shut it off.. but if ur just cruising in 2nd or 3rd and some ricer fucks with ya dont activate it any less then 4800 rpm cause in my opinion it wont do u any good. but like i said b4 ive been in a non turb 944 b4 and it was auto and they are slow as hell! and this one ur racing could be beat and not maintained very well, u will take him with or without vtec!!!! keep us informed man
