Re: Tokico suspension

how well does it improve the handling? i raced a neon today that had only intake an almost bald tires... an it left me in the turns. i couldnt take them fast or else it would ass out too much or i'd go into the opposite lane. my suspension is shot an lowered itself a couple inches. how much of a difference would it make installing the Tokicos?

The flash makes the gap in the wheelwell stand out more - in normal lighting it looks really good - like there's absolutely no gap. I haven't had any major problems with clearance, but obviously large potholes/dips have to be taken slowly.

I don't know if it's just my imagination but it feels like my car drops a little lower when I set the adjustable shocks to a firmer setting.
how did u put the pic in the post? nicee!

Handling

I had Tokico Illuminas an my Integra before it was stolen and i loved them. I also put on a set of Tein S-Tech springs at the same time. The ride was rougher but the handling changed immensley. I would recommend that you most definately do the mod, and yes it will allow you to run faster through turns whoever was talking about the neon....i cant believe you lost to a neon..... Anyway dont worry about the clearance. If you want to minimize the roughness of the cars ride stay away from the really low profile tires. 16" wheels will provide to with better handling anyway.....
