ehehehe! IC

yah, I'm using SP8000's on 37.5psi 98 prelude teinHA with upper pillows, spoon strut tower front/rear med. rate springs (much stiffer than typeNA's, nothing comparable). lowered about 50mm, weight of the car is about P11. damp setting 7-8 from full hard (not streetable unless asphalt is supersmooth) max pressure tire can handle is 44psi

I'm using RE910's on 34psi (gonna lower to 33psi tomorrow morning) P11 teinNA with stock bushings, no tower bars. lowered 45mm, soft springs, soft damp rage, max pressure tire can handle is only 40psi. only for commuting.

my buddies on TegTypeR's were using 39psi on same SP8000's teinHA or bsteins, and other civic dudes using either SP8000's or S02's using 37-38psi. driving was mostly through 15mph turns after turns after turns going approx 25-35mph and then on the 20mph turns, going through at over 45mph. max we were sweeping over 70mph and damn it was faaast!!! this goes on for about 15miles distance. man, I miss malibu...

just a follow up...

since it's like 93F in chicago this week, I lowered the cold temp psi as below and got some good results.

SP8000 - 36.5 front 35 rear
still kinda stiff by the end of the ride, probably can drop
another 2 psi

RE910 - 32 front 32 rear
got kinda stiff by the end of the ride probably can go
30psi both.

saw a lot of cars pulled over this weekend from bursts. hahaha, check your tire pressure guys!

Re: Please help - Tire Pressure question

You Need To Lower Your Pressure Alot, To Around 32 Or 33 Psi, Or You Risk Damage To You Tires.
