I don`t have any desire to get back into car customization after the purchase of the lexus. There is no good reason to compromise the reliability of the car(as you can hear I am stil trying to convince myself of this moot point, because inside I want to boost 1.5 bar and spank the competition, but I have to remember I am in fact mortal and value my life). So I will be buying a new car shortly, one that has three letters, a number, and is made by a company that begins with "M" and ends with "I."

Now that's awesome!

I don't really ever go around there anymore either, just to actually buy a latte or what have you, lol! But anyways, right now I'm aimming to pull a full time job (something better than this 2 part time stuff I have right now) and either put a down payment on an IS300, or the car you are looking to purchase soon, either one will be equally within reach. And neither of them will be touched outside of wheels, and probably suspension, but that's it. Just as you have (and other friends of mine as well) we eventually grow out of this stuff. Once I can achieve either of those 2 cars, that will be my settling down point. I'd like to keep the Civic though, but am focusing on building it up with the motor it came from the factory with. Nothing extravigant, nothing to spank Mustangs with, just something quicker than stock, and enough to hold it's own in auto-X which is my forte in racing.
