Would a computer chip help on F body motor sports they have this chip that you buy along with a 160 degree stat said to allow the car to go over what it says on the dash.

yes, but i wouldnt get a chip until you are done with all of the performance upgrades you want, then you can get a custom burnt chip that will work best with what you have...

Off the shelf chips are garbage, they don't do much of anything, add some spark advance at WOT (Not good to do without a scanner hooked to see how it reacts), turn on fans at a lower temp (no biggie, anyone can do that on a chip) and sometimes remove the speed limiter (not advisable without speed rated tires, also easy to do on a chip)

305 TPI 195 HP 295 ft/lbs torque

Now, given these numbers....the TBI's will get smoked with the same rear gear ratios.

I know, he should have probably took me pretty fast, especially since it was on the freeway.
And if you were going 110 racing wouldn't you want to pass, I mean, we wern't just joyriding at 110.....
I thought it was odd, but he was doing just as good as I was.
Maybe it was a 305 TPI...I don't know, all I know is he kept up with me, that's it.

well no shit all cars have gears but when someone says a car with gears it usually means its an upgrade at least were i come from. and an extra 40 lbs of torque wont smoke it. But like i also said before hands down a tpi will beat a tbi but IT WONT BEAT THE PANTS OFF OF IT. it will win but there is a difference,but a win is a win

well no shit every car has gears. but when a person says a car has gears they usually mean upgraded gears...at least it does in texas. and sry my ignorance played into my response also....i didnt know the 305tpi could come as fast as
230 HP 300 ft/lbs torque i knew about the others but not that fast, i still dont think that it would smoke it, but it would definitely win hands down.
