Not everybody likes to jump into debt, just to go fast. Chris obviously has his priorities straight. He needed something to get him by, as a means of transportation.

He never claimed to be fast, just that the D15 had more power than his D16 did.

theres a gutted D15 hatch around here with some bolt ons that can kind of hang with me from a roll. so they can be pretty quick.

If you are so pissy about the fact that I got the attention for not telling, then keep it to yourself. No need to bring it to an open forum and bitch and moan over the matter. Use a PM next time to.

I've never had any reason at all to lie about what I've done in the past. I said a probable 150 HP. It could be higher than that, not going to say it's up there at 170 or so, that is just being cocky and wishful. As for the GTP, it was a Mid 90's GTP 4dr. They are about a mid 15 sec car (Here in Utah may be higher due to altitude). Plus anything can happen on the road. There's no preparation, you just go with it. I won maybe by a carlength, never said I took the guy by a huge distance.

As for the Altima, it wasn't completely loaded with 150lb. + girls. They were probably sophomores. Weighing less than a 110 lbs each. Not that it made any difference because the Altima comes in at what, 175 HP? So, it didn't surprise me at all to take a win. I don't see why you make it a big deal over the matter that I didn't say anything. I've said it over and over that it isn't a big deal with me. Yet few of you just get pissed over the matter that I didn't say anything. It's the freaking internet. Grow up and live with the fact that not everything has to be told to you just so you get some sort of assurance and you can sleep soundly at night.

Thanks Kris, thanks dampy, thanks clawhammer.

Re: Story behind the Civ

i think we all need to back up off civ. he's never been known to bs before..why would he now? just because you have an maxima and his D15 civic beats up on altimas doesn't mean you get to try to jump his shit. now i ain't trying to say too much because i'm not going for ban number 3. they're watching me.

Re: Story behind the Civ

Hehe congrats on your swap Civ. I have read your previous posts on what exactly happened to your civic and why you had to do the swap.

I have to say (even though its very late) that it sucked for the death of your old engine, but as long as you're back up and running again... hey! that's all that matters right? Hehe. And you got it all free too. Lol. I shall envy you . J/k.

It's true, that's all that does matter. I went two weeks without driving a vehicle. It was torture to me. Just two weeks even. Thanks for the congrats. I couldn't be happier at the moment. It's like I just bought the car again and I had the same feeling when I drove it home.

Thanks dampy. Like you said, I've never had reason to lie about winning races. Why would I? I've been here long enough, and it's funny that those past few members who showed doubt used to be the ones posting in my threads with comments like "Good race", "Wow you've got yourself a nice Civic there", "Sounds like your Civic is pretty quick", and so on and so forth.

Then when I don't tell them what swap I did, they instantly get all pissy and start spouting off how they don't believe me, or it wasn't possible to beat a this car or that car. Kind of amazes me how people here can flip flop just like that and turn their back on you just because you don't tell them what you have. Very childish in my honest opinion. Whatev...

I must say, Civ is quite funny when he is pretty tired.

We pulled a all nighter. But we had fun, or at least I did. We got to watch a few races out in front of the shop, which is always fun.

Its all about preferance I guess. For me I was going to go with a B18C1 or 5 for my civic, I could have, but I got a JDM B16A instead even if those engines, especially the C5, have more power than my B16A. And I drove a few type R's with that engine, fun to drive, but I like my B16A in my coupe even more.

You got pride in your engine, keep up the good work on it and show them all what the D's all about. And good kills btw.

If you think I'm funny when I'm tired, then wait until you see me wasted . That was a pretty cool night. Those guys we met were hilarious. I'd have to admit that that was probably the funnest night I've had in months, if not a year. Hmmmm, maybe when I get that B16 we should do it again?

dude, you're so far off base it's laughable. i could give two fucks what kinda motor he got, and i could really give a shit that he beat an altima. it's the blantantly obvious cry for attention and the fact that 2 threads were started over this stupid d15 powered civic.

civ, you knew perfectly well that the second you said "i'm not telling what kinda motor it is, so don't ask" that everyone was gonna start asking and prodding. and if you had said "i put a d15 in my civic" in the first post, there's no way your thread(now threads) would have gone to 4 pages long. you wanted attention. well, congrats you got the attention of a bunch of strangers and we're all very impressed. way to go. like you said it's the freaking internet. and you actually call others childish? hypocrite.
