Re: Should I buy A lincoln Ls?

I once got an undercooked burger from McDonalds. I'll never eat there again.

I caught my kid in a lie once. He'll never have my trust again...evar.

I love it when people speak and think in extremes. We need more extremists!

Re: Should I buy A lincoln Ls?

Acura 3.2TL's have so many Tranny problems there has been a recall and warrantee extension (something like 3 in 100 trannys fail, the LS doesn't have anywhere near that failiure rate) . Infiniti J30s are so hard to find parts (and repair manuals) for it isn't worth buying.

If you can find an '02 with an in-service date late in '01 or early '02 it will still be under warrantee if the milage is under 50000. Ford offers a warrantee extension for about $1500 to 100k that covers all the "problem" parts and then some. Buy the car, be sure of its in-service date (you can get it off a carfax report) go home and buy the warrantee of of ford.com.

I have been shopping for an '03-'04 V8 for about six weeks and have seen a number of '02s go for 16500ish with 40-50k. You may wind up spending a little more than you want to but you will wind up with everything you want, and then some.
