Re: Cheesy 80's tunes

Preliminary CD was made today. Blasting down the streets with 80's cheese pumping out of the stereo was comical, not to mention highly embarrassing for the missus. I did feel somewhat self-conscious when Danger Zone was blaring out while sitting at the traffic lights

I know i'm missing some classics so keep the suggestions comin'

Re: Cheesy 80's tunes

I remembered a couple more... "Black Cars" by Gino Vanelli, I got that on 45 somewhere around here and "Fantasy" by Aldo Nova.

That one band that does "Final Countdown". It's got some wickedly cheezy keyboard rifts LoL

There is no way this CD can reach the level of cheese you are aiming for without "Maneater" from Hall and Oates.

That would be "Cars" by Gary Neuman.

My favorite Rod Stewart song from the '80s was "Infatuation" in 1984. That was the year I graduated high school and that song was CONSTANTLY being played on the Top 40 stations, good memories. It seemed a bit different than some of the songs he came out with around that time, and after that he seemed to really 'mellow out'. I bought his 4 disc box set about 10-12 years ago and that song is on it.
