Re: two 15s or 18

5" P2P....i doubt even 12000w RMS could make it move that far in a ported box or reasonably sized sealed enclsore...

"what other subwoofers have nightmares about...JackHammer is the most enormous, mind-blowing subwoofer ever created"

hmmm...well i geuss RE's Supersub and the parthenon are shaking in their boots, oh wait, they must not exist acourding to MTX....

and what is this about switching out coils chaning SQ....or is it an entore cone asembly with different T/S params?

Re: two 15s or 18

Waits for RE to release Supersub to make JH nerds stfu... it wont be as loud because they have similar linear movment capeabilities but we will be luckey if RE makes a supersub 18...let alone the cone area of a 22...

I know plenty about it...and it's not called a "supersub"...that's just what others call it b/c they don't know the name...or what's going on

Re: two 15s or 18

Oh my goodness...

So enlighten us, oh enlightened one. Have you seen one? Heard one? Do you actually know much about it? I sure as hell don't, I'll admit that, and yeah, it seems a lot like a waste of raw materials and money for the most part and maybe they'll only sell a handful, but really... An $8000, 320lb woofer has got to at least pound. Hell, you could strap two of their T92001 together and at least get the thing to break a sweat.

Every company has a penis envy product... It used to be the RFL, now it's the Jackhammer. Just like Clairon has the 32" sub, Audiobling has the 34" sub, Adire has the Parthenon.

Clarion 32" Sub (discontinued, I believe)
Audiobahn 34" Sub

Adire seems to be in the process of re-designing their site, so I can't find the Parthenon right now...
