B4C Option for the Camaro Z28 which has 280hp 320ft-lbs, B4C is more aggressive suspension. Runs 13's probalby 14's with the safety equipment. Mean buggers. Not really going to outrun much in Cali unless you have a full tank with a McClaren F1 ^_^

Re: Even Cops like to street race.

I thing the regular cruisers are made for high speed stability as opposed to all out acceleration. Afterall, I don't think the cop wants to actaully tear past the car he's chasing, and most people dont have cars that'll go much past 130, be it governed, or just not have enough power. And for those who do, that's what tehy have the police interceptors for

No, that's why they have Helicopters... not much will out run the helicopter.

And if you can, which is doubtful, but if you are able to you surely cannot out run the Motorola. The radio will always be faster.

and I've seen enough times, especially late at night im sitting at a red light with a cop beside me, he puts on his lights and drives through the red, then turns them off and keeps going on, while im sitting there stopped at the light...that pisses me off more than anything

Re: Even Cops like to street race.

just goes to show that if you wanna be a frickin criminal all you have to do is become a cop. someone needs to hold them accountable for things like this. or maybe they should loosen up the rules on us some... big brother always knows whats best nowadays...

He might of gotten a call? Maybe had to take a piss? Never know.

Part of the priviledge of being a cop is you can do damn near anything (within reason.) Kinda the reward you get for dealing with the lowest forms of human kind day in and day out.

Re: Even Cops like to street race.

Its the life they choose. That shouldnt give them special privliges. I deal with the scum of the earth everyday(im in iraq)camehome on leave and got six points and 2500 dollar ticket. All the cop said was good luck in Iraq. The law is the law. If they enforce it they should follow it.

Re: Even Cops like to street race.

I completely agree with you on Caveman, i mean i am just getting my license back as of this friday because of to many points taken off for speeding and wrecking my car. The only thing is i got a ticket for going 60 in a 55 and the cop told me i was going 70 in a 55 with a brand new may i add chevy impala. But then again they always are right ,even though i went to court for the ticket and yet again the civilian looses .

Maybe that's what is making me want to become a copt o get dumb people like the cops we have talked about that break the law out of the force?

We sha'll see but all i know is that im getting a caprice and hopfully it's the police interceptor package and if not then alot of upgrades will fallow.

Re: Even Cops like to street race.

I got pulled over by a N.C. highway patrol in 94. While I was in the back seat getting my ticket I asked him what he thought about his 92 lx 5.0 patrol car...He said that is faster to 60 but he would love to have his caprice classic back... He said the chevy was way faster at highway speeds and handled much better...I asked him about the police package and I was told that it was only suspension upgrades and that the motors were stock in both cars...I have also seen police racing each other b4...lets face it as much as I hate the man, some of them love to race as well.....
