hicas and LSD came as an option package so if you have one you have both

Are you crazy? Im pretty sure the LSD came in a stand alone by itself as well. I dont have HICAS but I do have an LSD. and its a 91 SE Coupe.

yeah thats what i thought. im almost positive i remember that its like the wiper/spoiler thing its pretty unpredictable how it came it just shows up in random cars.

Best way to check is get under the back of your car and look on the diff case. Look for a orange sticker that says R200V.

lsd's only came in super-hicas equipped cars -------- or as an option for any 240sx.

not all 240s have lsds.

Jeez guys, go out and look.

Sticker: Adn or :jack the back of the car up and spin the tire. If the both spin the same way, you're LSD equipped. If one spins one way, and the other the opposite, youre open diff. No ifs, ands, buts about it.

so HICAS always has VLSD but some have VLSD with no HICAS. right?

HICAS and VLSD came together, in Canada, not all 240s have VLSD.
