Re: Performence Intake... All the same?

since you have 2 hose nipples on the intake. put your pcv hose on one and a little breather filter from autozone on the other. that will work the same as a bypass valve. its like trying to drink through a cracked straw.

i think the nt's use a map sensor to measure the airflow so it should work fine. if you have a big sensor out at the filter like the turbos then you cant do it this way.

I might be one of the few ppl on here that will say this, but if I were you I would get the AEM one, but search for a good price. I got mine on Ebay for $106 shipped, which after you buy a generic one on Ebay, is only like $50 more. You get a really nice filter, and a pipe specifically designed for your car. Plus, it looks better because it's powdercoated a color rather than chrome like everyone has. Maybe I'm crazy, but I waited like 3 months to find the one I got on Ebay and stayed up till 2 in the morning to make sure I won it.

ALTHOUGH, it dosn't fit. The tip of the pipe ends at a point in my bumper that there is a cluster of wires and shit for the foglight, that I can't relocate. I'm working on trimming off the end of the pipe about an inch to make it fit, but wish I didn't have to. Make sure you get one that fits!
