Re: How do you feel about engine breakins?

I like to take my break ins slow and steady, for several thousand miles, maybe some quick driving and rpm variations to break the new cam in but that's about it, i want my shit to last.

Re: How do you feel about engine breakins?

Well, when we get a race engine rebuilt, we just prime the oil pump, crank it, let it idle for awhile. Shut it down. Adjust the valves, crank it again, put a timing light on it, then race it, lol.
