Third, when it comes down to it, this is still a Honda board, so don't go around acting like you own the place. When it comes down to it, you're ranked in the same category as I, not one of them. I can respect that, seems like you feel you have something to prove. Prove it on the street or at the track.

To quote, when you make a comment like "we don't give a rats a$$", make sure that you know of what you speak. Don't even think about grouping me in the same category as you. You are what makes car enthusiasts cringe. You've got some work to do before you will be taken seriously, on and off the board.

3 points I have to make:

1. He never said anything derogatory towards Hondas or Preludes...he was talking about the idiot driving the car.

2. I know you've announced that you're now a converted Hondaphile. Nazi's loved their race. They took it a little too far...get my point? No need to be so adamant. The smarter your answer is, the dumber the opposition looks, ifyouknowhatImean. Quit making the people opposing/objecting to you look smart

3. We are car lovers in here. Peterparker's car may be a domestic...I love fast cars...his car is fast...therefore, I love his car. You should too. Doesn't mean you love your car or Hondas any less. Polygon's car is another matter..........

If you don't tone down...we'll leave it at that.

Edit: P.S. Nobody doubted that peterparker's car can win the race portrayed in his particular post. Many doubted yours. There's also the tone of the post you were reffering to. Trust me, peterparker's tone of writing is a LOT more calm and Honda friendly than how yours sounded when you first posted.

Because nobody felt the need to defend you. You're aggressive tone gave the impression that you can handle yourself.

The guy who started the thread is my best friend, he posted that because I told him to race me, see how he does, and he wasn't sure about it. He KNEW I was gonna beat him but he started that thread on purpose....

I raced a Corolla and had to deal with Civic drivers at the race spot whenever I won... You tell me if you don't believe that can get a little hectic.

You need to re-write your definition of flame. I wasn't trying to flame you, I was checking you, as I am checking you now. You may feel flamed, but that is a totally different matter. Do not feel like you're being picked on, because you are not...if you step back a little and take a wider look at things, you will realize that you mostly brought this on to yourself. Like I said in those posts above, you need to start wording/expressing yourself better.

P.S. I wasn't a mod during those posts either. You helped me become one...think about that.

People are always making assumptions like that.. "the driver in the prelude was being all cocky" for all we know the guy in the prelude just put on headers and an exhaust and was looking for a race to see if his car would keep up knowing very well he was going to lose. I've had mustangs and camaro's rev at me and i humored them and gave it a go just for fun. I knew i was going to lose but it didnt bother me. I've also revved at corvette z06's and a porsche 911 turbo's. does that make me a dick? I dont think so. again, i knew i was going to lose but it was awesome to watch those cars tear off the line. The point i'm trying to make here is that until both people are here to tell their side its all heresay, and the arguements are pointless.

I say congrats to Peter Parker for the win but as a side note for you and everyone else i would like to say:

if you didnt want to race in the first place you shouldnt have given into his antagonization. You knew you would smoke him and in my opinion that should be enough for you. I know its hard to pass up teaching other people lessons when they step up to you but that lesson you teach them could be YOU getting pulled over and arrested while he manages to somehow get away or YOU getting sideswiped by a sport utility while your going over 100 mph. I'm sure you guys are all as careful when you street race as i thought i was but the other night i was almost the cause of a wreck when some guy in an accord stepped up to me and although i didnt want to race i gave in. An SUV pulled out in front of us while i was schooling his ass and i had to slam on the brakes, let the accord pass and duck behind him to avoid plastering myself into the SUV. I'm not trying to take the jam out of anyones donut here. I street race and i try to be on empty highway or backroads with no one around when i do it. but it only takes one car to pull onto the road, one deer to be crossing the highway, or one cop with a radar gun to turn the situation real ugly.
