Lol. Well, what I meant was I wished mine ONLY came up like that when it left, lol.

Its already got a fiberglass front end and hood (doors and hatch too), and weighs in around 2700 lbs. It brings the left front atleast 8 inches up, and the right about 3 or 4 (on good passes, they-tell me the left is sometimes about a foot up).

And I kinda do only leave above idle, lol. I leave at 3400 rpms, anything higher and it really comes up, lol. If I left at around 4000 rpms, then it would be a huge handful off the line. I tried it last year at 3600 rpms, and it brought em up a little higher, but not too much more, but it really through off my reaction times. One time I'd be .51x, then .48x red, then .54x green.

If you go look at the "post a picture of yourself thread", and find my post, the left front is about 3 inches off the ground there (hard to see where its dark though) and it was on its way down at that point. It typically carries the left front the length of the car.

LOL. If I could launch at 6500 rpms, I'm pretty sure my car would jump all 4 wheels off the ground! lolol.

And since you posted your weight, I'm beginning to think I'm underestimating my horsepower (I just tell people its got around 500, I really don't know). Now I realize gearing, tire diameter, etc. effects times, but if you're making 380 whp, that means you're in the 420-440 range at the flywheel. Now I probably got a 100 pounds on ya, but you've posted yoru 330 times at being 4.8x, and mine ar 4.4x. I just don't think 60-80 more HP would account for 4 tenths, and thats only in the 330. That gap of course would widen in the 1/8th (I could go 6.60-6.70).

I see. Even at that though I dont think 100 more hp would account for roughly 4 tenths in only 330 ft. Of course I probably got 150 more lbs-tq, if not more, lol.

It doesn't really matter one way or the other though, lol.

I'll be in the 4.30s more then likely this year with my new slicks. Ran 4.403 and lifted last night with a 1.480 60'. Any other track and that'd be atleast 1.42-1.44 and 4.25-4.30 in the 330.

Have you raced anymore since you posted that video (drag raced)?

Re: I can't get it up ... *sigh*

I am racing at the NHRA event this weekend coming up at Atco Raceway in New Jersey.
It is a 2-day event, but we are mostlikely hitting the open track on Friday night.

I hope after 3 days of racing I will get some clean passes in. Right now our biggest issue seems to be off-boost tuning so that we stop fouling plugs *sigh* We put so much effort into making sure WOT@boost was tuned that we did not have enough time to properly tune the rest of the set up.

Re: I can't get it up ... *sigh*

well good luck with it then. I'm sure when you make it to the test and tune session you can get it lined out.
