for all the money you are going to put into the civic to keep up with the ferrari, you might as well just buy the ferrari.:silly2:

So you want a supercharger to help spool the turbo, yet you don't want too much top-end boost? WTF! With a turbo you can adjust the boost from inside the car to limit top end while you're driving, you can't with a S/C. You have to change a pulley.

Honestly, it's going to be hard to hang with ferraris in a civic. I've edged out a stock 360 modena, but I have a pretty big advantage over you (more displacement, RWD, turbo spools quicker)

Just buy a turbo kit and be happy.

Second you will probably need custom fabrication of the engine compartment and front suspension. Third, you will need a great mechanic...and expect it to NOT run correctly, NOT be street legal, NOT be very driveable, and depending on where you live, NOT pass emissions. Good luck either way, but I really do think you're going WAAAYYY overboard.

HAHAHAHA, word...

Sorry man, but if you are basically choosing a Civic over a Ferrari for performance, that makes no sense to me. If I want to go fast, turn fast, stop fast, look good, and have the means to get a Ferrari, I don't think there is any question. Speaking of respect, a Ferrari demands respect the minute it rolls up on you, especially if you build it up to be even faster. Just look at SCC's "Ultimate Street Car Challenge" last year. The Ferrari beat, or finished in the top in each competition. This was against highly modified cars of all kinds. The Ferrari was bone stock.

Now I can understand if you want something to build up and be a challenge, but if you have Ferrari money, you can have an ass-kicking Civic, and an even better car on top of that. Just a thought. Civics are cool, and so are Ferrari's, but Id be happy with just an S2000 and a downpayment on a house.

That's what I love to hear about in a civic.
