Well, Jen and I have a 2000 Civic Ex, but we plan to pick up a used miata. Jen really wants one and I hope to use it for autoxing. I plan to buy the new Nissan 350z or a used NSX with a targa top, but that's not going to happen for a year or 2, depending on how well the money is invested.
Original owner, 70,000 original miles on a 95 VTEC. Never been a wreck and never driven in the winter (snow) or rain if possible, since the car was redone in 99/00. It's basically a weekend car and show car. When it was repainted all the rubber gaskets were replaced, the timing belt was replaced, oil and general maintence has been done over the years, the front plastic water splash guards were replaced in the wheel wells. I bought the car in Oct. of 95 for 19,890 and I have invested close to $20,000 in mods and labor over the years. Engine: factory b16a, the engine was removed, cleaned and the block was paint in high temp silver paint. ACT stage 1 clutch, Chrome Valve cover, AEM air intake, DC-Sports 4:1 header, Tanabe G-Power exhaust, Nology ignition wires, Hondasport oil, radiator, steering fluid caps, STR dipstick, DC-Sports battery tie down, and some silver painted accents parts. Exterior: Full repaint of exterior, door jams, trunk, engine bay, etc. in acura integra supersonic blue mixed with silver pearl. s2k tail light swap, had the Pakfeifer kit from Austria imported into the states, Kaminari hood with scoop, custom made civic lip spoiler, shaved antenna and a Honda Insight antenna was added on top. Interior: Black and Grey tweed upolstry everywhere except the dashboard. Sparco Torino racing seats, MOMO steering wheel and the cruise control was relocated and is still functional, Honda s2000 starter button, s2000 racing pedals, Injen carbon fiber gauges, carbon fiber dash kit, carbon fiber instrutment panel, carbon fiber shifter knob, carbon fiber emergency brake handle, Alpine CD player, Alpine alarm with pager. Suspension: All the suspension arms are painted in silver paint, tanabe Sustec Pro Street coilovers, Urethane Bushings, Suspension Techiques Sway bars, DC-Sports upper front, upper and lower back strut bars, Cusco lower front tie bar, camber kit. Wheels/Tires: SSR GT-1 17's Nitto NT 555 205/40 tires, Powerstop slot rotors, metal matrix pads, steel braided brake lines, painted silver calipars. Blair 95 VTEC www.teamsolil.com |

Delsolguy: What production number do you have on your 97 VTEC. It's like the last 4 or 5 numbers on your vin. There were only 750 97 VTEC models made in 1997 here in the US, so you have a very rare car.
