my friend (owners brother) and i called up a junkyard today and found two seats for it. $20 a piece. We are going to check them out, hope they are in good condition. And we also might look at a halfshaft. Are these hard to take out because we have to pull all of the parts from the junk cars. Im guessing we might need some special tools for the ball joint s if those need to come off.
Also got him down to $100 for it.

Re: Thinking of getting CRX
To separate ball joints, you need a ball joint separator or a "pickle fork"...

found some seats! now it has 2 crx seats. they came out of an older crx. The drivers has a few tears in it but its alright. the passenger is good. After i get the car and learn how to remove the halfshafts i will try to find some of those.
How long do u think it would run with the bad driveshaft? Like i said in my first post it clicks when turning left. pretty loud. |

Re: Thinking of getting CRX
My g/fs has been clicking for atleast 6 months now... CV joints will eventually break, but they usually will last a while until they do, until then they will just click and annoy you... When you order them, its best just to get 2 new axles rather than just the CV joint and boot... They should run u about $150... A bit more expensive, but its alot easier changing the whole axles...
