HOW TO: Converting your P10 G to 5 speed from auto Part 1

I work for RBA Inc. I usually stage computers or repair Video poker machines... Generally I'm always up to my neck in hardware and I've been asked to do a lot of overtime lately ... can't complain a lot of other companies are laying everyone off in the tech world round here.

Yes I have a few programs that can do it .....
OH God How big are they ...lol ?

I haven't forgotten this...My pics aren't anywhere to be found sooo...seeing as how I recently cracked my tranny in 2 I will be able to take more pics..


I will definitely finish this once and for all so you guys can have some fun.

I think that it is funny that a how-to on a tranny swap is in the maintenance section. Kind of like saying that having a auto is a problem that must be repaired.

For some people it is definitely a problem...can't wait to finish up my car...could'nt find a tranny anywhere in Quebec or Ontario damit.

what else did you have to buy other than the tranny? i know you need a clutch master cylinder, what else?

If you read through the beginning of the thread you'll see what you need ...no no master cylneeded its not a hydraulic clutch...Try to get parts off an NX2000 the tranny is geared better.

actually this is not for my old P10. im dropping in the DET into my 200SX and it is an Auto. im going to use the tranny for the DET that comes with it and turn it into an auto and block of the rear axle to make it FWD. so im going to get a JWT pressure plate and clutch. they said i needed clutch master cylinder. anything else i should need?
